You're assuming that nice guys don't earn money, but many of them do. And, really, should it be different? Should the good-looking people all marry each other? Or should the wealthy people all marry each other? (That's the way it used to be -- marriages were arranged between wealthy families and looks didn't matter.) As it is now, both men and women get to choose whether looks, wealth or other factors such as character are most important in choosing a mate. A woman with looks has more choices, just as a man with money does.
