What makes abortion or eugenics wrong when we mass slaughter animals everyday?

So, it is acceptable for animals to stalk and kill their pray by ripping their throats out, then eat their pray raw off ground? But a human can't go to the grocery store, buy a steak that was slaughtered humanely, processed in a plant, throw it on the grill and eat off a plate with a knife and fork? Animals eat meat, why can't humans?
