Is it possible that Adam and Eve were monkeys?

.....we did not evolve from monkeys. We evolved from an ancestor.. the same ancestor that monkeys evolved from. We split into two different species over time. And it certainly did not happen just 6,000 years ago... I'm going to have to say this question is like someone congealed what was in their head into a ball of goop and then barfed it onto the keyboard which then created this sad gibberish.
