How are so Dolphins Smart ?

So They have weak Eye sight and they have no Hands for grasping just like primates. How did they evolve this intelligence that is similar to that of apes ? is it because of their diet which is mainly fish (you know..fish is good for the brain) or because of something else similar to whatt shaped us into being smart / this also brings me to my question about Crows who are also smart?
